The 40 year old Westcroft Leisure Centre building was refurbished to bring the pool water treatment systems up to date with PWTAG guideline requirements. Two independent water treatment plants are provided, one for the 25m pool and one for the warm up/teaching pool. Each system is complete with balance tank, VSD controlled circulation pumps, PAC flocculation, deep bed single grade sand media filtration, photo-oxidation using ultraviolet treatment, high efficiency plate heat exchangers, automated pH and residual chlorine disinfection control.
