The water treatment system design incorporated PAC flocculation, medium rate filtration on sand media beds, photo-oxidation using ultraviolet for excellent water quality, heating, pH control and residual disinfection control using chlorine, all housed within a rooftop plantroom. Equipment was designed to fit into the ground floor to rooftop lift for ease of future maintenance and lifecycle replacement.
The pool tank design incorporated a glass bottom with concrete walls lined with a tiled waterproof rubber butyl tanking system which was specially interfaced with the glazing support steelwork and all pool fittings, inlets, outlets, lighting and pool cover cave.
