New spa at the Davenport Hotel, Dublin

Devin Consulting are delighted to be working with the O’Callaghan Collection on the new spa at the Davenport Hotel in Dublin. With multiple heat experiences, the new spa will enable guests to harness the cleansing and healing power of water and heat.

The spa will contain 3 pools, a 12.5m lap pool, a vitality pool and a chilly plunge pool with water at a cool 12 °C. The vitality pool will be a warm 37°C and will provide a range of body massages to include a 6 seater body massage station with water jets for back massage, water jets for calf massage and air pads for the more gentle body massage. The bathing experience will be complimented with excellent water quality, designed to PWTAG standards and using ultra violet radiation for enhanced treatment.

The heat experiences will incorporate a steam room and a salt sauna. The steam room will provide a highly humid environment at a comfortable bathing temperature of circa 42 °C and with fibre optic starry sky effect lighting. The sauna will be constructed from aspen timber and Himalayan salt bricks and operate with a very dry but hot environment, circa 85 – 90 °C.

Construction is well underway and opening is planned for June 2025.
